The Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce has issued a statement asking for patience in the announcement of the reopening of the drive-in theater at the Outlet Shops of Grand River.
Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Sandra McGuire said Monday, “We are happy that everyone is excited and looking for information on the reopening of the drive-in. What we can tell you is that there is construction going on and that we expect an announcement from the new operator within the next few days.”
The Coyote Drive-In closed in September for maintenance and repairs, saying they would reopen in the spring. Since then, the theater changed ownership and there has been no word on when it will reopen.
Coyote Drive-In opened in May 2016 and includes mini-golf.
