Nashville musicians part of lineup for Creek Bank Festival this weekend

Live music will be part of the upcoming 25th Annual Leeds Creek Bank Festival slated for this weekend, along with other activities for the community to enjoy.

The festival will be held along the bank of the Little Cahaba River at the Leeds Memorial Park this Saturday. Food and kids’ activities will be part of the event along with balloon artists, hoola hoop contest, creek bark dog pageant, mascot challenge, moon pie eating contest, a petting zoo and more.

The Fourth Annual Crusin’ The Creek Bank Car Show, presented by C&C Motors to benefit the Leeds Outreach and Backpack Buddies will also be part of the festivities.

Live music from Nashville is scheduled to take place on two stages at the event, including Michael Jacobs and Kayla J who was nominated for New Artist of the Year & Female Vocalist of the Year. Leeds native Erica Ryleigh will perform as well as Elvis Tribute Artist, Terry Padgett.

Other musicians scheduled for the event are Jr. Showstoppers, Girls with Guitars featuring Julia Tambruello, Brinkley Rackstraw, Madeline Mae, Skylar Wallace, Samantha Hennings, and Maddie Beth Morgan.

The Leeds Memorial Park is located at 1159 Montevallo Road Southwest. The festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
