Leeds man arrested, held without bond after narcotics raid

A man from Leeds was arrested by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit following a a raid that resulted in several types of illegal drugs being found.

Terry Odell Burrell, 34, was identified as the suspect and is being charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance after a two month investigation.

According to an announcement from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, a search warrant was served on July 8 at a residence in the 7600 block of Henry Ellen Drive in the Leeds community.

During the raid, police found 29.55 grams of heroin, 62 grams of marijuana, 3.21 grams of MDMA, 18.6 grams of cocaine and 18 grams of methamphetamine.

Burrell is currently being held without bond. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office announcement said that more charges against him are likely.
