Leeds High School’s AP math teacher named Teacher of the Year

The Teacher of the Year award was presented to Leeds High School teacher, Kyoung Cox, by the Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce on Aug. 16. It is sponsored by Goodwyn, Mills & Cawood.  Kj, as she is known by, is an AP Calculus teacher who, for the past two years, led 100 percent of her students to receive qualifying scores on AP Calculus exams.  Every single student she has taught will receive college credit.
