Christmas came early for Leeds Elementary School. Every student – all 465 – received a Chromebook in every classroom this week. The school paid for them with funds raised in the Monster Mash Dash over three years. Kathy Broom, technology and instruction at LES, prepared the laptops for dissemination to classes. The school gives laptops in classrooms to prepare kids for the future. They thanked:
-Monster Mash Sponsors: Lehigh, City of Leeds, Alabama, The Outlet Shops of Grand River, Representative Dickie Drake, Goodwin, Mills & Cawood, Barnes & Barnes Law Firm, P.C., Line of Fire, Hubbell Power Systems, and Leeds Water Works
-Spring Fling Fundraiser Contributors
-The Central Office and Technology Department
