Greenwave predicted to win Friday game with Elmore County

Quarterback Nick Armstrong throws a pass during the first home game against John Carroll Friday night.

This Friday Leeds High School’s Greenwave will face Elmore County in Eclectic. And though the team has had two losses, the season is far from over.

The last game was played with John Carol High School, which resulted in a knee injury for quarterback Jarod Latta. The season opened with a game against Sylacauga.

In a list of high school teams predicted to win, AL.com writer Josh Bean believes Leeds will come out with a score of 19-14 against Elmore County.

The Greenwave will play at 7 p.m. Click here to see a schedule of future games.
