Greenwave practice intensifies as first game approaches

Leeds High School’s football season starts on the road Aug. 24 against Sylacauga.

Practice got real this week in preparation of the opening game that is on the road.

Coach Lee Gibson welcomes more linemen this season, after a shortage last year, and keeps some senior standouts, including quarterback Nick Armstrong and running back Jakobi Hunter.

The first Greenwave home game is Aug. 31 against John Carroll.
