In November, storyteller Dolores Hydock returns to the Leeds Arts Center to perform “Footprints on the Sky,” a tale about an Alabama mountain community in the 1970s.
Hydock’s performance will be about old fashioned traditions juxtaposed with modern living where the “spirit and voices of special mountain friends come to life in this story of strong women, Southern hospitality, and the generous spirit of a close-knit community.”
The event is sponsored by the Leeds Jane Culbreth Library, the City of Leeds, the Leeds Redevelopment Authority, and the Alabama Humanities Foundation.
“Footprints on the Sky” will take place on Nov. 4 at 5 p.m. The Leeds Arts Center is located at 8140 Parkway Dr.
