The September First Thursday Street Fest will take place tonight in downtown Leeds, featuring live music, food and a car cruise-in.
The free event’s car cruise-in will feature the Mountain Brook Driving Club along with antique and special cars, motorcycles and trucks that can be entered at no cost.
Pazzo Big Slice Pizza, Dixieland Funnel Cakes, Frutta Bowls, Sunshine Lemonade, Chick-fil-A and Ken Waites Shaved Ice will provide food. Music will be performed by Miss Leeds Area Charity Bowden, Eric Watters and Mandi Rae at the gazebo.
First Thursday takes place on Parkway Drive at the library on the corner of 8th Street to 9th Street at Leeds City Hall from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
