Carnival returns to Leeds in April

The carnival is returning to Leeds in April.

The carnival that returned to Leeds for the first time in 15 years in October is coming back.

The carnival will be held April 10-14 in downtown Leeds on 27 acres between the Leeds Area Chamber of Commerce and Lehigh Cement Company.

Sonshine Amusements out of St. Clair County operates the carnival that is coming to Leeds. This is the same company that runs carnivals in Trussville and Moody.

Sales of wristbands and tickets will pay for the carnival, so no city or chamber funds are being used.
